A home with a sense of permanence.

Toronto House was conceived for a young family looking for a contemporary home with a sense of permanence — refined enough to feel considered, yet restrained enough to age well.

The interior was developed alongside the architectural planning, allowing the layout, mechanical systems and natural light to be considered together. Garden glazing and skylights draw daylight deep into the home.

Light and dark rooms alternate throughout the residence. Natural timber, expressive stone and deep blue-grey tones create a quiet rhythm between social spaces and the more private rooms above.

Sculptural pendants, linear illumination and concealed light become visual anchors. The lower level brings together guest accommodation, a lounge and a private gym.
